Exclusive season opener on Sebaldusweg

5 years of the Sebaldus Trail - a reason to celebrate!
That's why there's a very special week at the start of the season this year!
Between 29 April and 5 May, all pilgrims have the opportunity to explore the trail together with pilgrim guide and national park ranger Elisabeth Humer.

Highlights in the exclusive week:

        - Katzensteinermühle in Weyer
        - Brandstätter Hammer in Losenstein
- Daily shuttle service
- Special little things along the trail in the individual municipalities
- Festive mass on 5 May 2024 at Heiligenstein  May 2024 at Heiligenstein 

The Sebaldusweg is not just a pilgrimage route - the trail is particularly impressive with its impressive nature and culture. Along the route, hikers will find 7 churches, 2 of which are pilgrimage churches, 30 chapels, museums of the Eisenwurzen Upper Austria and countless natural treasures.
The highlight of the trail is a visit to the pilgrimage church on the Heiligenstein in Gaflenz, which is dedicated to St Sebald - the namesake of the trail. The hosts and restaurants along the trail will spoil you with cultivated hospitality and down-to-earth, homemade delicacies made from regional products.
