Description:
After a short stretch of road you come to the Siberlbach, along which you continue in the forest strip. After crossing a small bridge and a short climb back up between fields and at the farm turn right to the Enns-Aktiv-Weg. Continue on this trail downstream to the waterfall (Faller Bucht), then up a short climb and back to the train station.

Highlight is the waterfall (Faller Bucht)

Directions:
From the train station Dürnbach direction Steyr slightly downhill to the underpass of the track, on the other side turn left onto the road and follow the course slightly downhill at the junction.

At the bottom continue straight on (slight uphill) into Lauchweg, stay on this road until the fork. There keep to the right (according to the hiking trail sign in the direction of Gasthaus Sternwirt) and continue to the end of the road. Continue on the hiking trail along the Siberlbach stream until a small wooden bridge crosses it on the left. Cross this bridge and continue straight up the hill (Attention: DO NOT turn right onto the hiking trail).

At the top, turn left onto the dirt road until you reach the farmhouse, there turn right down the hiking trail (through a pasture). At the bottom, walk a short distance on a meadow path to the settlement road, follow it and turn left over the railroad crossing. Immediately after, cross the road and continue into the forest (to the right of another settlement). Follow the path to the right around the bend and continue until a trail turns off to the left downhill (Enns-Aktiv-Weg). Follow this path until you reach the waterfall (Faller Bucht).

Depending on the water level, either cross the outflow of the waterfall or turn left along the rocks behind the waterfall up and down again on the other side, follow the path until you reach the pasture gate, here turn left uphill (Enns-Aktiv-Weg continues below level to the Enns).

At the top again along the Siberlbach to an underpass, walk through this and then turn right onto the road. From here follow the course until you return to the train station.

Tip:
Faller Bucht (waterfall) - natural heritage, place of power and always worth a photo; after a long dry period, unfortunately, it happens that the waterfall is dried up (still beautiful).Along the Siberlbach in spring a lot of wild garlic, which blooms beautifully in May. (unfortunately also in summer tw. dried up)

Safety guidelines:
when wet in some places a little slippery,

at the waterfall at high water level walk behind the waterfall to avoid wet feet

Equipment:
The required equipment always depends on the particular tour and the weather conditions. Regarding the food: This is very individual and it is recommended to have rather too much than too little with equipment and food. For a 5km round in the valley you need less than for a demanding tour in the mountains. The weather can change quickly and if you are not constantly on the move or need to take a break, for example, warming clothing is of great importance.

We have a general checklist for you here:
