Starting from the town square of Inzersdorf, this route goes along the old church path to the 1000-year-old oak, via farm roads to the Mostschenke Eisterer, and via Poxleiten back to the starting point.
Hiking trail: K11
Directions:The hike initially leads along a meadow path into the Wanzbach district and further to the natural monument of the »1000-year-old oak«. After a reflective rest at the wayside shrine, the path runs along the valley floor northwards to the farm road Gelblehen. A sign already announces the Mostschenke Eisterer, which is easily reachable in 30 minutes. In a gentle climb past the farmstead »Reslmair« the panorama bench at the forest edge is already in sight. Opposite, the Schlierbach Abbey rises into view. From about 570 m above sea level, the route returns to Inzersdorf at the sign K11/6. On the right-hand side can be seen the pilgrimage church Magdalenaberg, the mountain range of Ziehberg, and afterwards the first foothills of the Kalkalpen. The typical cider apple-growing region displays a colourful coat of many hues in autumn as a contrast to the fog in the floodplain area on the valley floor.
