The Altpernstein Castle has existed for 1000 years and was completely renovated in 2019. The castle is idyllically situated in the forest at an altitude of 900m, offering a wonderful view of the Kremstal valley and the surrounding mountains. The modern rooms and suites have been furnished exclusively with healthy natural materials from sustainable production, solid wood beds and seminar furniture, maple floorboards, and Green Earth mattresses.

Breathe deeply, find your inner balance, and feel free. Lose weight, consciously abstain from something, and simply live (more) easily. There are many reasons to choose a week of fasting and reflection. At Altpernstein Castle, it is easy to renounce everyday life and habits for a while. The location above the fog line, with views extending to the mountains, carries thoughts away from distractions and noise. Trained, professional fasting guides will lead you on the path to reflection, reorientation, and a new sense of lightness with "Fasting with Vision." The nature and forests around the castle invite you to stroll and engage in moderate physical activities, as well as to visit the power places in the area and linger there.
