Butterflies and their habitats in the Kalkalpen National Park
Over 1,600 butterfly species flutter in the Kalkalpen National Park, making it the location with the highest number of species documented in Austria. The butterflies love the flower-rich habitats and the light, natural forests. If the butterflies are scarce during wet and cold weather, we will focus more on their habitat requirements and nectar plants during the tour.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
