At the age of 16, Klaus Kremsmayr, born and raised in Steyr’s, began to experiment with beer brewing in the cellar of his parents’ home, without having the slightest inkling that he was already laying the foundation of his future brewery career. A few years and many stainless-steel tanks later he has succeeded in brewing his own beer.

The “heart” of the “Steyrer Bräu” brewery is situated in Gleink in Steyr in the old “Maierhof” estate.
