The Altpernstein Castle has existed for 1000 years and was completely renovated in 2019. The castle is idyllically situated in the forest at an altitude of 900m, offering a wonderful view of the Kremstal valley and the surrounding mountains. The modern rooms and suites have been furnished exclusively with healthy natural materials from sustainable production, solid wood beds and seminar furniture, maple floorboards, and Green Earth mattresses.

Before the town center of Micheldorf, turn left onto Burgstraße according to the signpost. From there, continue straight past the Weißenhof equestrian estate, after about 4km you will reach the castle.
