To spend the night in the middle of a national park and experience the wilderness up close is a special experience that is unique around the world. The National Park Wilderness Camp offers two cozy cabins with shared rooms, a group space, and a campfire area. Embrace the adventure of nature. Together we will discover how to make fire, recognize animal tracks, identify edible plants, navigate in the wild, and learn about who lives in the mountain streams. Carve your own eating utensils and look forward to exciting hikes and thrilling nighttime activities. Perhaps we will even discover lynx tracks?

We prepare our meals together over the campfire as often as possible, placing great importance on healthy cuisine.
Additionally, the Wilderness Camp can be booked as a seminar location. The lack of cell phone reception allows you to relax and fully focus on the seminar content. In case of emergencies, a satellite phone is available.

Route planner for independent travellers

Nestled between the rivers Enns and Steyr in the Sengsengebirge and Reichraminger Hintergebirge lies Austria's great forest wilderness – the Kalkalpen National Park covering an area of around 210 square kilometers. Floods, avalanches, and storms continuously alter the landscape. For millions of years, natural forces have been the driving force of evolution. For centuries, steep mountain walls have protected this place; now it is up to us to allow wilderness.
