Oö. Landes-Jugendhaus Losenstein

The Landes-Jugendhaus Losenstein is the ideal base for school events and offers a starting point for hikes through the Kalkalpen National Park. A nearby indoor swimming pool can turn a dull day into fun, and the freely accessible ruins of Losenstein transport visitors back to medieval times. The Landes-Jugendhaus warmly welcomes non-profit groups, schools (project, sports, music, and ski course weeks), families, and clubs. A written or telephone pre-registration with the management is required. The Landes-Jugendhaus is open year-round (dates available upon request).

The house has 75 beds (+10 pull-out beds) in four-, three-, and two-bed rooms, all equipped with shower and toilet. The entire facility is wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for people with disabilities (accessible sanitary facilities and elevators). The Landes-Jugendhaus offers full board, and a large portion of the food used comes from businesses in the immediate vicinity of the youth house.

A large divisible seminar room with complete audio-visual equipment meets all needs. There is plenty of space for games and fun outdoors on the playground, which features a large campfire site. Musicians have access to an electric piano, a pianino, and enough rooms for group and individual rehearsals.

The gym can be used for many sporting activities such as yoga, jazz dance, table tennis, or meditation. Water enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby Ennstal indoor pool in the municipality of Losenstein, which includes a sauna, solarium, etc. The Landes-Jugendhaus is also an ideal starting point for hiking and educational excursions (such as National Park days, the Valley of the Feitelmacher, the nail forge of Losenstein, and the dripstone cave), as well as for mountain biking and climbing.
