St Sebald on the Heiligenstein has been a popular destination for pilgrims since the 15th century. In the anniversary year 2013 the "Heiligenstein Theme Trail" was opened and in 2020 the Sebaldus Pilgrimage Trail - the highlight of which is the Heiligenstein with its church dedicated to St Sebald.
Easily accessible by bike, the Heiligenstein is one stage of 7 different Sebaldus tours that will be opened in 2025. www.sebaldustour.at
Details about the "Heiligenstein themed trail": At several stations in and around the church, visitors will receive the most important information about the history of the mountain shrine, its significance as a place of pilgrimage and about the work of St Sebald. The highlight is the annual Sebaldi festival.
