Welcome to the main thing, Jesus Christ - HIM you can get to know in our church!


As the Evangelical Parish of Kirchdorf, we are not concerned with our church building, but with the main thing - and that is the central person of the Christian faith: JESUS CHRIST. That is why the name of our church in Kirchdorf "Zum guten Hirten" (John 10) is a reference to HIM. Because HE is so important to us, and because for us nothing is more rewarding than to live and pass on the personal relationship with Jesus, there are in our church:

    Varied services where adults can always make new discoveries.
    KiGo - a special children's service for 3- to 12-year-olds parallel to the church service. Here the children learn about the biblical message & HIS truths.
    The youth group - you should take a look if you are a teenager! The leaders provide action and depth.
    In house groups we fellowship and read God's Word together.
    The senior citizens' groups in the church hall or old people's home are always a joyful fellowship.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month we have church coffee. This is not a type of coffee that has been specially roasted for Protestants, but people meet to have time for each other, for example to talk to the "newcomers" or to talk about the sermon together again. And on Soup Sunday (every last Sunday of the month) we take time to eat lunch together.

If you are looking for a change of pace in between: We have our own public library. That alone makes it worthwhile to come. After the services, there is often a real rush to borrow books, games and DVDs.
