Beistein Circular Trail

Description:
The hike starts from Trattenbach up the enns, then up along the Antersbach, around the Beistein and back via the Feitelmacher valley.

Directions:
From the Trattenbach railway station, the trail leads upstream along the road at the beginning for approx. 900 m to the first fork (Antersbach), where you turn right. The trail now goes uphill along the stream. The road now bends to the left away from the stream and finally leads further up along the Antersbach again.

At the end of the road, the path finally leads across a meadow until it joins a road again after a few minutes' walk. Following the road, you finally reach the Kienberg estate road. After a few steps, the path branches off from the road in a bend below the Beistein wall and then leads back down to Trattenbach.

Near the church, the trail finally rejoins the road, which takes you back to the starting point.

Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Trattenbach: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
