The hike begins behind the church by the sun and leads through nine stations to Welser farm, where you have a direct view back to the sun. Along the way, information boards provide interesting facts about the planets of our solar system and topics such as solar and lunar eclipses, the Milky Way, and the asteroid belt. The return route follows the same path.Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park region - Großraming train station: By train, you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
You can extend the hike by following the E46 hiking trail around the Höhenberg.
