The Brunnbachrunde can be started either towards Lumplgraben or a bit longer via the charming Rodelsbach over the Hirner Höhe. Via Gschwendthöhe, after 2.5 km of enjoyable descent, you pass the Brunnbachschule and turn left into the "Weyrer Brunnbach." Shortly afterwards, you cross the bridge on the right and turn right again before the hunting lodge. 2 km later, you reach the provisional highest point (780 m). You then pass the Kogleralm and turn left at the end of the descent after the bridge. 300 m further, the ascent to Ortbaueralm begins. After 3.3 km on the 10% steep ascent to Ortbaueralm, you reach the junction where you could turn left to Hirschkogelsattel. The abandoned Ortbaueralm is located to the right of this junction and is not visible from the road. From the highest point of the tour (Stiegelboden 872 m), the descent to Große Klause follows. 3 km later, you turn right via Wasserboden to Plaißabachstraße, on which after 2.3 km you reach Brunnbachschule again. From there, via Gschwendthöhe and Lumplgraben back to Großraming.
