Starting from Wolfsgruberau, the hike leads over gentle mountain ridges heading west and returns on forest roads to the starting point.

From the Wolfsgruberau parking lot, the path leads over meadows and through forests along the Willeitenberg and Sonnberg towards the northwest, and on the return hike you walk on lightly trafficked forest roads.
