Atmospheric market in the idyllic Promenadenallee with children's programme, children's carousel and children's railway

The atmospheric Christmas market on the Steyr Promenade has been around since 1998. Around 30 exhibitors spoil you with culinary delights - bratwurst sausages, traditional Holzknechtnocken, raclette bread, Ischl gingerbread, potato dumplings, waffles, Swiss stone pine schnapps and, of course, mulled cider, punch and mulled wine.

Christmas gifts are also on offer: Wickerwork, flower arrangements, hoods, hats, honey and honey products, candles made from beeswax, purses,...

The Steyr Christmas market has a heart for children. While moms and dads browse and think about which presents to choose for their loved ones, our little visitors can enjoy a "flight" on the Christmas plane, a ride on the children's carousel or a ride on the atmospheric children's train. In addition, young visitors have the unique opportunity to meet the Christ Child in person at this market!

Familiar fairytale characters can be discovered between the huts. In a craftsman's hut, you can not only taste the typical "Nocken" of the forest and forestry workers, but also watch how traditional wooden shingles are made.
