Directions:
The starting point for the typical Schlierbach walking tour is the town square. Pass behind the monastery, up to the Kalvarienberg chapel and enjoy the magnificent view over the Kremstal on a resting bench just before the Haslinger houses. Then follow the forest road to the right until you reach the Jausenstation Zeisl (closed until further notice).

When you leave the Zeisl to the right, the towers of the Cistercian monastery show you the way into the forest and you follow the shady path to the outskirts of Schlierbach and come back to your starting point.

Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Schlierbach: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
