The Glasner Hut is located at an altitude of 804m with a fantastic panoramic view.

The cabin is open year-round and a perfect starting point for hiking or biking tours in the area around Maria Neustift and the Glasenberg. Cyclists have access to a free e-bike charging station — even outside of opening hours. In winter, snowshoes can be rented in the cabin, and the summit of the Glasenberg offers a breathtaking panoramic view during ski tours. With sufficient snow, the adjacent tow lift serves three downhill slopes.

Visiting the Glasner Cabin is worthwhile, whether for breakfast in the morning sun, a hearty lunch, or a snack. Of course, there’s also a piece of homemade cake with coffee.

The Glasner Cabin is also well-equipped for celebrations such as birthdays and Christmas parties.

Hint / Advice: The hut is located directly on the Sebaldusweg, the Mariazellerweg 06, and the Voralpenweg 04.

Open year-round

Thursday to Sunday and public holidays: from 10:00 AM.

During the autumn, Christmas, and semester holidays of Upper Austria and Lower Austria continuously.

Winter opening hours:
Thursday to Sunday: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

There are hot and cold dishes with products from the region as well as changing daily specials. Homemade pastries are also on offer.
