The stronghold of the jew's harp can be found in Molln in Upper Austria. The Schwarz family has been producing this unique sounding reed instrument for 13 generations (since 1679). Immerse yourself in the mystical world of the jew's harp and experience the oldest craft of the jew's harp makers at first hand!
The "Production of the Mollner Jew's Harp" was designated by the Austrian
UNESCO Commission as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
With the guest card "In Sum More" you receive a 20% discount on the purchase of an original black jew's harp.
You can see how the jew's harp developed into the mouth organ and finally the accordion during an interesting guided tour. In addition to jew's harps and small musical goods, the Schwarz company has specialised in the production of high-quality harmonicas and MIDI installations. The "Steirische" from Molln are well known under ORIGINAL KÄRNTNERLAND harmonicas!
