Art Nouveau Power Station on the Steyr River
The oldest and architecturally most valuable power station above the breakthrough section of the Steyr River is an industrial monument of European rank. The arched bridge below the dam wall particularly catches the visitor's eye. The original Francis turbines from 1908 are still in operation today. The art nouveau power station Steyrdurchbruch is a popular excursion destination and can also be easily reached from the Steyrtal cycle path.
