The healing effect of beehive air has been known since 1920 and has always been used in the form of beehive air therapy for allergy sufferers and people with upper and lower respiratory tract problems.

In 2021, Christoph Haslauer establishes the first apitherapy station in Austria with a medically approved inhalation system in cooperation with doctors. Patients are treated with the Vitalogikum in Aschach an der Steyr and Dr. Josef Hutter and other doctors from the region.

In the period from April to September, when the bees are actively flying in nectar, producing propolis, sweating out wax, fermenting flower pollen, etc., the hive air is of the highest quality and the bees are ready to receive users.
