The parish church of Saints Peter and Paul dates from 1880.
Parish Church of TernbergThe age of the church cannot be determined exactly, but it is certain that it already existed in the 12th century, because a St. Vitus Church in Ternberg is mentioned in Otakar II's deed of donation to Garsten Abbey.
In 1557 the church was extended to its present height. The tower dates from 1752 and the high altar is from 1688 by the sculptor Marian Rittinger.
The interior renovation of the church was designed by the artist Leo Zogmayer. In 2009, on the occasion of the 700th anniversary, the newly renovated church was consecrated by Bishop Aichern.
