Description:
From Grünburg train station along the Messerer Weg and over the museum footbridge, the walking trail leads to the center of Steinbach an der Steyr, then downstream to Pieslwang in the Au area to the Sommerhubermühle.

Directions:
Arrival from the local train station Steyr with the Steyrtal-Museumsbahn to Grünburg.
From Grünburg station, walk along the Messerer Weg via the museum footbridge to Steinbach an der Steyr to the Messerer Museum and come up via Hochgasse to the Steinbach parish church. The path continues behind the church over the Burgstall down to the main road and left to the Messererplatz.
Now you walk downstream on the right bank of the Steyr River to Pieslwang. At the Kienauer Inn, the chestnut garden and the large playground off the road invite you to take a break. After a well-deserved rest, follow trail no. 11 to the tracks of the Steyrtal-Museumsbahn. Follow this trail for about 200 meters until you reach trail no. 11.
Now you hike through beautiful meadowland to the museum stop "Sommerhubermühle" and enjoy the romantic return trip to Steyr with the Steyrtal-Museumsbahn.

From the east: A1 exit Haag > Steyr > B140 into the Steyr valley
From the north: A3 Passau > Wels > A9 exit Sattledt > Kremsmünster > Bad Hall > Steinbach
From the south: A9 exit Klaus > into the Steyr valley
Public Transit
The Steyrtal is served by bus lines 452 (Rohr-Bad Hall-Steinbach a. d. Steyr) and 433 (Steyr-Molln-Kirchdorf).
