Description: The entire route leads through a wonderful, untouched stream landscape with countless resting places at the clear water. Directions: Start the route at Reichraming train station, ride the first 7 km on the public Anzenbach district road to the Anzenbach barrier. From here, follow the Hintergebirgsradweg – along the Große Bach it goes through several tunnels, past the Große Klause. The Klaushütte, open from May to October, invites you to rest. From the Schleierfall the road rises slightly. At the Hirschkogel junction, turn left along the Sonnbergbach, climbing 200 meters in elevation to the Hirschkogel saddle. From there it is a steady descent to Brunnbach or to the Brunnbach school. At the barrier, turn left on the Waldbahn road back to Reichraming. Those familiar with this route who want to gain some more elevation can turn right at Schrechts onto the little-used gravel road over the Brennhöhe to Anzenbach and from the Anzenbach barrier return along the same route as at the beginning back to Reichraming.Safety guidelines: Check in advance for any road or path closures along your route at www.steyr-nationalpark.at.Equipment: Sun and rain protection, repair kit for minor bike breakdowns.
