Description:
Starting from Losenstein/railway station, the hike leads on the left bank of the Enns upstream, through the Klausgraben up over the Hintsteingraben, along forest roads and forest paths to the Luagstadl and on to the summit.

Trail number: HD5

Directions:
Starting from the train station along the left bank of the Enns - Goldgrubweg - at the Grilln farmhouse over the railroad to the Ebenführer house, following the markings over stairs, climbing fortifications and two footbridges past a waterfall into the gorge forest.

At the top, the trail leads up into the Hintsteingraben and after the "Bauern-Blasl" turn left over the forest road and along the forest path to Luagstadl or further to the summit.

Tip:
The Klausgraben is a wildly romantic gorge bordered by towering limestone cliffs. In the humid climate of the gorge forest a very special flora and fauna could develop. Deer's tongue colonies, hellebores, moon violets, spring knotweed and the like thrive excellently there and are unique at this altitude.

Safety guidelines:
Walk necessarily with sturdy shoes, special care in wet weather!
