Trail number: 479, 479a, 479b

Variante: From parking Gradau

Directions:
From the starting point of the gorge trail at the Stefaniebrücke (Roidinger) inn, you walk upstream a short distance to reach the Steyr in a bend. Along the Steyr you hike in the forest, partly under overhanging conglomerate walls, to the confluence of the crystal-clear Krummen Steyrling.

The trail continues along the Steyr via the footbridge and later leads to the upper edge of the gorge. After a descent to the Steyr, you reach the Rinnende Mauer - a natural spectacle worth seeing and experiencing.

For the way back, you return to the top of the gorge and then there are several options.

Tip:
Take enough time für the natural scenery Rinnende Mauer: The conglomerate walls on the steep slope of the Steyr are an impressive geomorphological feature of the Alpine region. This natural monument takes its name from the phenomenon of an eaves spring that becomes a fine curtain of water over a length of about 50m.

Furthermore, this area is a "plant-sociological Eldorado" of completely different species in a very small space.
