Description:
Already the beginning of the hike at the parking lot Scheiblingau along the Krummen Steyrling is worth a trip: So-called "Bodinge" (washouts in the rock of the stream) gave the valley its name.

After about 30 minutes you reach the snack station "Jägerhaus" If you want to fortify yourself before the ascent, you are cordially invited here in the large guest garden or in the cozy parlor. The hunting lodge of Count Lamberg towers a little above - guided tours with the National Park Ranger are an experience!

But now we continue on trail no. 472 a, always uphill on a former "Salzträgersteig" up to the Schaumbergalm. It lies idyllically on the alpine floor between the peaks and greets the hikers and mountain bikers from afar.

The well-deserved stop at the innkeeper Waltraud is a pleasure! Here the guests are spoiled with hearty dishes from the alpine kitchen. Now you can decide whether to conquer the summit of the Trämpl and Alpstein and descend via the Ebenforstalm (May - end of Oct. continuously managed) - additional walking time about 2 hours, or on the same path back to the valley.

For a leisurely end to this beautiful hike, you can plan another stop at the Jägerhaus in the valley. In any case, you return home packed with many beautiful impressions!

Directions:
From Molln you reach the Scheiblingau parking lot in the Bodinggraben, where the hike starts upstream to the Jagahäusl. Shortly after the Jagahäusl, the trail goes steadily uphill on trail no. 472 to the Schaumbergalm.

The trail continues to the summit of the Trämpl and the Alpstein and on the other side down to the Ebenforstalm.

From the Ebenforstalm, the trail leads over a small hill on the alpine pasture and then on a trail down to the Jagahäusl and on the forest road back to the starting point.
