Description:
From the parking, the trail first leads along a side road, later along a ridge to the Gscheid and further along hiking trail 467 to the junction with a forest road. After a short stretch, the trail now branches off to the left and leads through the forest up to the Schieferstein ridge. Via the Steinernen Jäger (1,185 m) you finally reach the summit (1,206 m).
Caution! From the Schieferstein ridge (at the latest from the turn-off to the Steinernen Jäger), surefootedness and a head for heights are required!

Alternative: Shortly after the Gscheid, take the turnoff towards Miesrigl/Losenstein and extend to a loop over the Pfennigstein.

No gastronomy along the way, so bring drinks and a snack if needed.
