Directions:
From the "Stallburgalm" car park at Küpfern/Hammergraben/Viadukt, follow the marked hiking trail no. 494. Initially, it leads uphill on the left side of the stream until it meets the road at the last houses. From here, follow the forest road that follows the stream further into the valley.

Tip:
Be sure to continue the route to the Stallburgalm. The hut of the Naturfreunde Weyer is located on an idyllic alpine pasture at the foot of the Großer Almkogel.

Additional information:
The hut is open from 1 May to 26 October from Thursday to Sunday. Always open on public holidays! In April, November and December the hut is open on Saturdays and Sundays!
