Description:
The hike leads to two nature benches on the Reitnerberg.
Directions:
The trail first leads along the main road through the Brunndorf district, then uphill to the right along a meadow path to the turnoff for the Reitnerberg goods road. Continue on the asphalt road to below the "Machler" farmhouse, where we take a short break on the first natural bench and enjoy the view back to Ternberg. Above the farmhouse we branch off to the left, where the road leads to an already abandoned farm. The natur.bench stands under an old lime tree with a magnificent view of the foothills of the Alps as well as the Upper Austrian lowlands all the way to the Mühlviertel mountains.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Tip:
The circular hike can be continued to the Hintsteiner Chapel and further to the Braunreith farmhouse with a lovely pond. The path leads back to Ternberg along the Paukengraben.
