Description:
The Kreuzberg nature reserve is a gem in the middle of the market town of Weyer - a paradise for walking, hiking, running, taking in fresh air and sunshine and enjoying the view.

Directions:
The loop starts at the Kreuzberg parking lot in Weyer and leads under the railroad into the forest area of the Kreuzberg. In several hairpin bends the path winds its way up and then leads across towards Gasselsgraben and from there down to the railroad promenade. The way back leads past the Schmidbergerwehr along the Gaflenz upstream to the parking lot.

Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Weyer: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.

Additional information:
On your way back, take a detour to the historic market square with its romantic courtyards and numerous places to stop for refreshments.
