Description:
The hike to the Heiligenstein offers a magnificent panoramic view of Gaflenz and the peaks of the Weyrer Bögen (Almkogel, Bodenwies ...), Gesäuseberge and Haller Mauern, and also leads to a traditional pilgrimage site, the only Sebaldus church in Austria.

Directions:
Starting from Neudorf/Lindau (B121), the hiking trail E08 leads to the Heiligenstein and several other trails offer themselves for the Heiligenstein, making different circular hikes possible.

E06 from the center of Gaflenz via Kreuzweg
E07 from the center of Gaflenz via the Pfarralm
E09 from Weyer via the nature trail
Theme trail: At several stations in and around the church, visitors receive information about the history of the mountain shrine, its importance as a place of pilgrimage and the work of St. Sebald.
Today, the so-called "Mesnerhaus" houses the snack station. Guests are treated to regional specialties and homemade pastries on weekends and holidays from May to October.
