Description:

From Großraming, the path leads over the Bertl Chapel past farmhouses, the Hofberg fire brigade depot, and up to the Fahrngruber Chapel. A valley basin opens up, and at the end, it turns left to the Klammbauer Chapel with a view of the Lindau Wall. From the Lindauersattel, the hike goes back down and continues to the Kreuzgruberhöhe and around the Freithofberg to Maria Neustift.

Hiking trail: E36

Directions:

This connecting trail between Großraming and Maria Neustift follows hiking trail E42 to the chapel at Bertlgut. It then continues uphill to the Schönlehner farm, where you turn right onto the meadow path and comfortably reach the Hinter- and Vordereibenberg farmhouses on the same level. Continue on the asphalt road to the right and immediately left at the Hofberg fire brigade house, past the Poschenreith farmhouse up to the Steinrücken junction.

Our path continues straight over the junction onto the goods road uphill, passing the Fahrngruber Chapel located in the forest, and soon enters a beautiful valley basin. At the end of the valley basin, you reach the Klammbauer Chapel, where you turn left onto the gravel path.

Concurrent with trail no. E04 from Gaflenz, it goes uphill to the Lindauersattel. A detour to the Lindau Wall (approx. 30 minutes) is worthwhile here.

Our route descends with trail no. E32 along the forest path to the Hochramskogel snack station. Continuing on trail no. E32, we walk on the asphalt road to the Moosgraben fire brigade house. Here, we meet hiking trail no. E31, which we follow to our destination Maria Neustift.
