Description:

The circular hike starts in Trattenbach, follows the Enns upriver to the Wendbach and then leads up the valley and back via the valley of the Feitelmacher.

Directions:
From the station, the path initially follows along the Enns to the Wendbach junction. Here, you walk on the forest road until the hiking trail branches off right into the forest uphill. Finally, you reach the Kienberg farm road, on which you walk up to just below the Beisteinmauer. Here, the path merges onto a forest and meadow trail that leads down to Trattenbach. Near the church, the path joins the road again, which you follow back to the starting point.Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - Trattenbach station: By train, you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
