Snowshoe tour Glasenberg

Description:
Snowshoeing at Glasenberg is a nature experience in its purest form.

Directions:
The starting point for the Glasenberg circular trail is the parking lot of the ski lift. After the Glasner Hütte, follow the Voralpenweg 404 slightly uphill past some weekend houses until you enter the forest. After about 100 m, keeping to the right on the forest road, you hike through quiet woodland until you reach the junction where you leave the Voralpenweg.If you follow the path E33, which now rises slightly, you have to keep to the left until you reach a fork in the path, where there is the possibility to climb the Glasenberg peak.

You continue hiking on the right through the wooded area and after about 1 hour you reach the Durchlaufner Sattel, where there is a beautiful view of Maria Neustift on the mountains of the Enns Valley.

The path then descends to the left to the Durchlauf farmhouse. Continue on a goods road and after about 30 minutes you reach the starting point.
