Mariazellerweg, Sebaldusweg, pilgrimages to Maria Neustift, Konradsheim, Heiligenstein or a visit to the Brunnbach church. Cycle pilgrimages allow you to get to know pilgrimage churches and spiritual places in the National Park region.
Directions:
Take the R16 past the Katzensteiner mill to the Enns cycle path R7 towards Großraming. Just before the rafting village, you pass the junction to the impressive suspension rope bridge (5 min walk), then past the rafting village over the Enns bridge, up into the village with the parish church worth seeing, past the municipal office and after 200m turn right to Neustiftgrabenstraße. This leads slightly uphill for approx. 5 km to the Maria Neustift junction and from there for approx. 2 km with a few bends a little steeper up to Maria Neustift, where the Gothic pilgrimage church invites you to take a break.
The route then continues for 1.5 km in the direction of Kleinraming until the junction at the former Ramskogler department stores', where you turn right towards Ertl, then right again after approx. 500 metres, uphill along the Bischofberg goods road and on to the beautiful Haunoldsteiner-Höhe viewpoint, which you should enjoy at your leisure. From there, the trail leads back down to the Moosgraben fire brigade depot, continuing on a beautiful tarmac road to the R16 and then back to Gaflenz and Weyer.
Alternatively, there is a scenic, very sporty variant from Neustiftgraben (Hofberg bus stop, Walleiten junction). This is rather steep but easy to cycle uphill, via the Arthofer farm to the Glasner Hütte, which is always open from Thursday and offers both refreshments and refreshments.
