The Heiligenstein loop leads to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, along the Ybbstal cycle path to Opponitz, over the Saurüssel and the Mühlein to the Heiligenstein and from there back to the starting point.

Directions:
The best comes at the end!The namesake of the 7-day cycle pilgrimage ends the week with a relatively strenuous stage. However, everyone is of course free to cycle the individual stages in a different order. Starting from Weyer and Gaflenz, the route first follows the Eisenwurzenradweg R16 to Waidhofen and then continues along the well-marked "Ybbstalradweg" to Opponitz - the most beautiful section of the entire Ybbstalradweg with plenty of opportunities for swimming - and on to Kleinhollenstein. After "Bettys Platzl" turn right, then immediately left onto the B 31 and after 150 metres turn right again at the junction to Weyer. After approx. 2 km, the old Saurüsselstraße leads left uphill to Pichlhöhe and then downhill to the Weyer road maintenance depot. Then take a sharp right uphill into Breitenau to the junction, continue left (signpost Heiligenstein) to the Ortner farm, turn right there, where it becomes steep twice for approx. 2 km and then continues rather flat to Heiligenstein (782 m). E-bikes are easy to ride, otherwise short push sections are possible.Please park and lock your bike 100 metres after the barrier at the cycle car park. The last few metres can be covered on foot.

Please note: For environmental reasons, extensive signposting has been largely dispensed with along the route. A map and GPX data provide the necessary safety.
