From there, follow the signs for Niederscheibenberg/Sandgraben/Hollenstein. The path with the number 64 leads downhill and joins a forest road. Now head towards Sandgraben/Hollenstein and reach Niederscheibenberg. First follow the signs towards Sandgraben/Hollenstein, then follow the signs for mountain bikers towards "Große Scheibenbergrunde 76".
After a short steep ascent, you will come to another mountain bike signpost at the top of the forest path. Turn right towards "Gamssteintour neu" and then straight ahead at the next signpost towards "Gamssteinrunde neu". The route along the forest roads is long but pleasant. On hot summer days, the forest provides refreshing coolness. Where the forest path joins the tarmac road, turn right over the bridge and along the stream until you reach the Mendlingtal Adventure World snack station.
The last section through the gorge of the Mendlingbach stream (Mendlingtal Adventure World, entrance fee payable), where you learn a lot about the former timber drift, is a great experience.

The Mendlingtal valley near Lassing offers impressive nature experiences with deeply carved gorges, clear streams and species-rich vegetation. Historical forms of wood utilization are illustrated along the themed trail "On the wood trail". The focus is on the working and living environment of lumberjacks, charcoal burners and blacksmiths who worked in this region for many decades. The facilities along the trail include the original Venetian planksaw, the blacksmith's house and a flour mill that is over 140 years old. A newly created farm garden complements the cultural-historical stations and displays traditional plant species.
