The Jungscharhaus Großloiben is located on an alpine pasture with a magnificent view of the Enns Valley at about 650m above sea level. The house is a former farmhouse converted for training and group purposes.
A residential wing is attached to the youth wing, which is rented separately outside the summer vacations (youth wing 46 beds, residential wing 11 beds). During the summer vacations the residential wing is rented together with the youth wing.

The house is managed by the diocesan leadership of the Kath. Jungschar. Information and booking is made without exception through the Jungschar office.
Local administration
The local administration is in hands of the Berger-Steiner family, tel. 0676 7229617 or 0676 6431564. The approximate time of arrival must be arranged with the property management as early as possible. The Berger-Steiner family must be informed of the exact arrival time at least 2 days before arrival. (Please do not call after 20:00 in the evening)
Our house is a self-catering house. This means that the entire house must be cleaned by yourself before returning it. For bookings outside the summer weeks, cleaning by the cleaning company can be booked as an option. In case of very short-term bookings, cleaning by the cleaning company cannot be guaranteed automatically. Here we ask for consultation with the Jungschar office. Cleaning can be selected and fixed when booking the house online. The following is to be brought along: Bed linen, towels, slippers, tea towels, dishwashing liquid, mop set, cleaning products, cleaning cloths, garbage bags, soap and toilet paper.
Outside the house there is a table tennis table, a covered barn and a large sports field. In addition, the specially built playground offers plenty of space for fun and games. Furthermore, there is a campground with washing facilities directly at the house.

General price information

The costs are made up of accommodation costs (per person and night), management costs and any other possible costs.

Minimum charge: 15 persons in the youth wing/ 5 persons in the residential wing/ 30 persons in the whole house.

Summer regulation: During the Austrian summer vacations, the youth wing is only rented out on a weekly basis and together with the residential wing. This results in a minimum charge of 30 persons.

Rates per person and night:
Youth group children, altar servers, group leaders 7,00 €.
Catholic youth, confirmands 9,00 €
Pupils, Catholic Church adult organization 10,00 €
Non-church organizations, private persons 11,00 €
plus tourism tax (for all non-exempt persons) 2,00 €
Tenting (valid from exceeding the number of beds) 4,00 €

Cleaning fee:

Daily flat rate
Renting without overnight stay is possible at a daily flat rate of 125,00€, or 150,00€ in the heating season.

One-day stay (e.g.: events like birthday party)
If not all guests stay overnight at an event, the minimum charge for overnight guests (15 persons in the youth wing, 30 persons in the residential + youth wing) will be charged in any case. For all those who are present only during the day, half the price of the tariffs will be charged (e.g.: private person 5,50€).
