As with the gorge trail, the path leads from the Stefaniebrücke inn on the road briefly in the direction of Zimeck, then down into the Steyrschlucht gorge and further downstream to the mouth of the Krummen Steyrling (approx. 30 minutes). From there, do not cross the footbridge, but follow the Krummen Steyrling upstream on the left bank in a constant up and down until shortly after a wooden platform (approx. 25 minutes). Leaving the gorge, the trail goes up to the Zinken district in a few minutes, 100 meters along the road to the Hoisn Haus and back to the Stefaniebrücke inn via side roads.
Directions:
The Flötzersteig circuit combines the experience of the impressive Steyr River with a hike along the left bank of the Krummen Steyrling, where traces of its former use as a drifting watercourse can be seen again and again. Wooden barriers caught the drift wood here. There was even a timber hoist that transported those logs that were not to be drifted on down the Steyr out of the gorge, which was difficult to access. Drifting continued in Molln until 1949.
In terms of wildness and romance, the Flötzersteig is in no way inferior to the gorge paths of the Reichraminger Hintergebirge. On the way back, you will also pass the Hoisn Haus, an old Jew's harp forge.

Pure walking time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Variant 1: From the estuary area not following the Krummen Steyrling, but leaving the gorge via a path in a zigzag up to the district Zinken ("Zinken-Eck") and along the upper edge of the gorge of the Steyr first in the settlement area, then through forest and on meadows back to the inn Stefaniebrücke (about 20 minutes).
Variant 2: From the platform not leaving the gorge, but following the Steyrling further upstream to the sewage treatment plant in the district of Gstadt (about 10 minutes). From there on the Piesslingerstrasse either in the direction of Maultrommel Wimmer or Hoisn Haus (5 minutes) and continue as above or cross the bridge and continue on the Haunoldmühlstrasse to the Gradau parking lot (10 minutes) or crossing the Piesslingerstrasse via a steep asphalt path ("Alter Nockerberg") in the direction of Molln center (15 minutes).
