Description:
The Kreuzberg nature reserve is a jewel in the middle of the market town of Weyer – a paradise for walking, hiking, running, breathing fresh air, soaking up the sun and enjoying the view.Directions:
This extended loop starts at the Kreuzberg parking lot to the Weyer district old people's home, then on to the Witgraben and across the Kreuzbergboden to the Drei Kreuzen. From there it goes directly down to the promenade and along the Gaflenz stream upstream back to the starting point.Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park region – Weyer station: By train you reach the starting point of this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
On the way back, take a detour to the historic marketplace with its romantic courtyards and numerous places to stop for refreshments.
