Description: The Gschwendtalm is open again from May
Welcome to Gschwendtalm, an idyllic retreat in the Kalkalpen National Park.
The idyllic alpine lodge in the Kalkalpen National Park from the 18th century offers an authentic alpine atmosphere with around 30 hectares of pasture, where one can fully enjoy nature. What is served at the table comes directly from the alpine surroundings - homemade specialties made from regional ingredients, whether hearty snacks or sweet delicacies. For those who wish to stay longer, a restful night can be spent in one of the 17 beds, starting the day with an organic breakfast. A place to unwind, indulge, and linger.
The pasture is managed from mid-May to mid-October.
The freshest mountain pasture products are made from the milk of the cows for the guests! From butter to curd cheese to cream cheese in the most diverse varieties!
