A special feature of Advent in Steyr is a vintage bus ride to Christkindl or Garsten.

The travel time is 15 minutes each way. The chauffeur in original uniform validates the tickets with a punch tool, which are sought-after collector's items. Upon arrival and departure, the famous three-tone signal horn sounds.

A seat reservation is not possible.

Departure is from Stadtplatz 41 at the Marienkirche.
