From the parking lot at the barrier in Brunnbach, the trail leads through the Schafgraben up to the Kreuzweg and further to the no longer operated Ortbauernalm, from there via the Stieglboden to the Annerlsteg.
Here begins the Triftsteig through the Große Schlucht, a special kind of experience. Hiking on the Triftsteig requires sure-footedness and a head for heights. Alternatively, you can walk along the bike path through the tunnels.
