From Maria Neustift the path leads on hiking trail E31, E31a to Krifter (811 m) and over the meadow ridge to a fork in the road (detour to Freithofberg with alpine hut – 985 m). From the fork, go right a short distance on a forest road downhill to the track or WW E31a to Neustifter Sattel. From here, continue on WW E32 towards Großgschnaidt. At the bus stop, turn right and hike up to the snack station Hochramskogel.

From there continue towards Lindaumauer. At the saddle, you see a huge rock lying in the forest. From there, the detour to Lindaumauer (1,103 m) begins to the left, where you are rewarded with a magnificent view. If you want to stay simply on the path, go right and follow WW E04 downhill to the “Platten,” where you then turn left towards Neudorf and follow WW E04 downhill to Grünangerl. Here turn left onto the Schwaig unterm Berg track. Continue past the Gaisberg farmhouse to the district of Lindau.

We keep left and continue a short distance on the state road to Thalhof. Here we turn right onto hiking trail E03 – Dornbergweg – and continue hiking to Gaflenz. From Gaflenz, the path leads over the Kreuzweg E06 to Heiligenstein (782 m) and then down the Heiligenstein hiking trail to Weyer.
