Leisurely day trip to traditional craft businesses and museums in Molln.




The excursion begins at the Wimmer-Bades Jew's harp manufactory, where you can see how traditional Jew's harps are made. Then it's off to the Schmidbeger art and sword smithy, where many a sword has been forged for film, opera and theater. Armor, harnesses and helmets are also made for the Swiss Guard in Rome. For refreshments, head to the innkeeper in the village, who will spoil you with home cooking, seasonal dishes and game specialties from the region. As a final highlight, you will visit the Poachers' Museum, where you will learn about the history of poaching from the Middle Ages to the present day and the events of the regional tragedy, the Mollner Widererdrama.
