For us, liveliness means openness to the diversity of theatrical forms of expression and the development of plays from the personal wealth of experience of our players. The theatre members are amateurs and work in very different professions. It is therefore all the more important that they can contribute their knowledge and experience to our theatre productions in the best possible way. Our rehearsal work uses various methods. What they all have in common is that the players and their personalities are at the centre and that they are picked up from where they are in their personal development, regardless of whether they are beginners or experienced players. Warm-up and relaxation exercises, speech and voice training as well as improvisation always have a central place in the often very intensive rehearsal work.
When selecting plays, we strive for the broadest possible spectrum of theatre literature, which you can certainly see in the repertoire of the last few years. It is a great concern of ours to find original and unconventional approaches to plays, to keep trying out new forms of expression and presentation. The collaboration between theatre and puppet theatre is always an extremely attractive challenge. The puppet theatre productions are aimed primarily at children and are characterised by the wide variety of theatrical means and the repertoire. The spectrum ranges from the realisation of fairy tales to the scenic adaptation of children's books and experimental pieces.
