The Steyr Nativity Scene is one of the last remaining puppet theatres in Europe and was declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Site last year. Handicraft scenes and funny anecdotes from the Biedermeier social life of Steyr are brought to life by means of orally transmitted texts and songs (in Upper Austrian dialect). An experience not only for children!
