Shortly after, you cross the bridge to the right and turn right again before the hunting lodge. 2 km later you have reached the highest point for the time being (780 m). Further you pass the Kogleralm and turn left at the end of the descent after the bridge. 300 m further on, the ascent to the Ortbaueralm begins. After 3.3 km on the 10% steep ascent to the Ortbaueralm, you come to the crossroads where you could turn left to the Hirschkogelsattel. The abandoned Ortbaueralm lies to the right of this junction and cannot be seen from the road. Over the highest point of the tour (Stiegelboden 872 m) the descent to the Große Klause takes place. 3 km after that you turn right over the Wasserboden to the Plaißabachstraße, on which you reach the Brunnbachschule again after 2.3 km.
