Description:
From the Steinbach town square, take the long-distance hiking trail 409 over the Kraberg to the "Schneeherrgott" and continue along the Hubertussteig trail through a steep forest to the summit cross of the Kruckenbrettl.

Directions:
From the village square of Steinbach an der Steyr, follow hiking trail 409 to Schneeherrgott and continue via the Hubertussteig trail through a steep forest to the Gifpel of the Kruckenbrettl.
For the way back, you can continue on hiking trail 409 to Messerer Gscheid and return via trail 15.
Another option leads back to the Riegler Seff.


Getting there
From the west: A1 exit Sattledt > via Kremsmünster > Bad Hall > Steinbach an der Steyr
From the east: A1 exit Haag > Steyr > B140 into the Steyr valley
From the north: A3 Passau > Wels > A9 exit Sattledt > Kremsmünster > Bad Hall > Steinbach
From the south: A9 exit Klaus > into the Steyr valley
Public Transit
The Steyrtal is served by bus lines 452 (Rohr-Bad Hall-Steinbach a. d. Steyr) and 433 (Steyr-Molln-Kirchdorf).
